Hurricane Maria is a Category 5 storm heading toward Puerto Rico while Jose could scrape the East Coast!
The storm made landfall on Dominica with 160mph winds and it was the first time in history that Dominica suffered such storm.
Maria is now heading towards Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico and are expected to be hit sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday!
Total rainfall in the Virgin Islands is expected to be between 10 and 15 inches and 12 to 18 inches in Puerto Rico. It is still unclear if any US states are in Maria’s path but the East Coast is expected to get scraped by Hurricane Jose.
Jose has winds of 75mph, making it a category 1 storm; Warning are in effect for parts of New York, New Jersey, Mass., Rhode Island and Connecticut.
